Luke Pasqualino brings Jilly Cooper’s scandalous world to life in Disney+'s ‘Rivals,’ a tale of ambition, lust, and media mayhem.

Luke Pasqualino is gearing up to dazzle audiences as Basil ‘Bas’ Baddingham in Disney+'s Rivals, a fresh take on Jilly Cooper’s 1988 novel. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill period piece - it’s a modern, media-savvy retelling set in the fictional English county of Rutshire, where a local TV station becomes the battleground for ambition and scandal.

Pasqualino’s not alone in this high-stakes drama. David Tennant and Aidan Turner are joining the fray, promising fireworks on screen. Directed by Elliot Hegarty and produced by Happy Prince, Rivals is bringing the heat to The Bottle Yard Studios’ new facility in Bristol.

Fans of Pasqualino’s work in Skins and The Musketeers are in for a treat. He’s been teasing his new role on Instagram, and let’s just say Bas Baddingham looks like he’ll live up to his name. Mark your calendars for October 18th - this is one premiere you won’t want to miss!
