The Alien franchise is gearing up to terrify us all over again with Alien: Romulus. 20th Century Studios just released a featurette that’s got fans talking, offering a glimpse of Cailee Spaeny as Rain, our newest space explorer about to face off against the iconic xenomorphs.
Set between the original Alien and Aliens, this Fede Álvarez-directed thriller follows a young crew of space colonists who stumble upon something nasty on an abandoned space station. Joining Spaeny are David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, and Isabela Merced all trying to avoid becoming xenomorph chow.
The featurette gives us just enough to whet our appetite without spoiling the surprises. It’s clear the film’s aiming to balance fresh scares with the classic Alien atmosphere we know and love.
