The rising star designer named her FW25 collection “VISIONS” and built it upon her battle-inspired model she designed for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Last year in Paris, Jeanne Friot closed the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games with a design inspired by Joan of Arc.

It was an armor-like piece with thigh-high boots made of sustainable materials like natural rubber soles and recycled plastic characteristic for Friot’s style. The boots made with belts and buckles were meant to symbolize progressivism and inclusivity.

And it was this particular look that sparked the idea behind the designer’s FW25 collections which she presented at Paris Fashion Week on Thursday.

Metallics, faux-leather, and punk inspired details were omnipresent during the “VISIONS” runway show.

The collection also featured Friot’s typical jeans with ostrich feathers, which she redesigner specifically for this year’s collaboration with the renowned denim brand Levi’s.

One of her latest looks from the PFW collection was even worn by Katy Perry during her performance in Paris just the same day.
