Alesso and
Becky Hill have reunited for their new single Surrender, released on April 4, 2025, via Capitol Records. This marks their first collaboration since Becky co-wrote Alesso’s 2022 hit Words, though this time her vocals take center stage. The track was first performed live during Alesso’s set at Ultra Music Festival in March 2025.
Surrender was written by Alessandro Lindblad (Alesso), Rebecca Claire Hill (Becky Hill), Alida Garpestad Peck, Alma Goodman, Conor Blake Manning, and Kevin Hickey, with production by Alesso, Zhone, and Sentinel. The song explores the emotional tension of love on the edge, with lyrics like “What if we just surrender / Maybe we can make it last forever.” Becky described the track as “nostalgic and fresh” with trance influences.
The release follows major milestones for both artists. Alesso recently made Billboard Dance Radio history with back-to-back #1 hits and continues to grow his label, Body Hi. Becky Hill’s sophomore album Believe Me Now? debuted at #3, and she has won two BRIT Awards.
Surrender is now available on all major streaming platforms and is expected to become a festival favorite this summer.
