Aimee Lou Wood Reveals What It Was Like Working With Blackpink’s Lisa in 'The White Lotus'

Emerging English actress Aimee Lou Wood is set to make her debut in the critically acclaimed series The White Lotus alongside several notable A-listers. One of them is Blackpink’s Lisa, who is making her acting debut in the series, and Wood has nothing but praise for her.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Wood was asked about her reaction to reading the script for the third season of The White Lotus. She said she couldn’t believe her eyes when the script landed in her inbox, and after reading it, she knew that showrunner Mike White had created something special once again. As a huge fan of the series, being part of it is a dream come true for her.

She was then asked about working with Lisa in her first acting role, to which she replied that it was “amazing to witness” Lisa’s nervousness, adding that Lisa was scared to do her first scene with Wood and Walton Goggins. Wood praised Lisa’s humility and noted how quickly she picked up the pace. It didn’t take long before Lisa started nailing her scenes, which put a huge smile on Wood’s face.

Filming for season 3 took place in Thailand from February to August 2024. Consisting of eight episodes, the third season will premiere on February 16 on HBO.
