On Wednesday, May 16, 2024, the first 4 episodes (out of 8 total) of the third season of the romantic series “Bridgerton,” based on books by American author Julia Quinn (born 1970) and filmed since 2020, will premiere on Netflix. “Bridgerton” is set in early 19th century London (though also filmed in places like York and Bath) and follows the lives of the eight Bridgerton siblings as they navigate finding love and happiness.
The third season will focus on the relationship between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington (played by Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan), a couple fans have nicknamed “Polin.” Returning in other roles are Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridgerton) and Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), among others. According to Netflix, “Bridgerton” is their fifth most-watched project. The remaining 4 episodes of the season will air on June 13.
