Meet the Star-Studded Jury of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival

The 2024 Cannes Film Festival has unveiled a star-studded jury that promises to bring diverse perspectives to this year’s competition. Headed by Greta Gerwig, the celebrated director of “Barbie,” the jury features a mix of seasoned actors and directors from around the globe.

Joining Gerwig are Lily Gladstone, known for her Oscar-nominated role in “Killers of the Flower Moon,” French cinema icons Eva Green and Omar Sy, and Italian actor Pierfrancesco Favino.

The panel also includes acclaimed international filmmakers: Nadine Labaki from Lebanon, Juan Antonio Bayona from Spain, and Hirokazu Kore-eda from Japan. Turkish screenwriter and photographer Ebru Ceylan rounds out the jury, bringing her experience as the co-writer of the 2014 Palme d’Or winner “Winter Sleep.”

Together, they will decide the fate of the films contending for the prestigious Palme d’Or, setting the stage for a thrilling festival.
