On Wednesday, April 17th, organizers of the Coachella music festival, which takes place in the Coachella Valley , announced that the band Vampire Weekend and AP Dhillon will not perform during the second weekend. Instead, Kid Cudi will appear, who last performed at Coachella in 2019.

Other surprises will include Skream and DJ Val Fleury. The Goldenvoice agency, which organizes Coachella, aims to surprise fans with unannounced performers or replace artists who cannot perform again for some reason, such as Frank Ocean, who injured his leg in 2023.
