CAS Awards Were Presented at the Beverly Hilton

At the ceremonial event hosted by comedian Tom Papa on March 2nd at the Beverly Hilton, the CAS Awards for sound mixing were presented. In the Motion Pictures – Live Action category, the sound mixers of the film “Oppenheimer” (Christopher Nolan) were awarded, while in the Motion Pictures – Animated category, it went to “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” (directed by Joaquim Dos Santos,Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson).

The sound team of the series “The Last Of Us”: S01 E01 “When You’re Lost In The Darkness” received recognition in the Television Series – One Hour category. In the Television Series - Half Hour category, sound artists behind “The Bear”: Season 2, Episode 7 “Forks” were honored.
