Tom Grennan Set to Headline BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend Main Stage

Tom Grennan will headline BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Sefton Park in Liverpool — a huge leap from his early days as BBC Introducing Artist of the Year back in 2018.
Calling it an “incredible honor,” Grennan leads a Main Stage lineup that also includes Biffy Clyro, The Wombats, and 
James Hype on opening day. Spanning May 23–25, the festival draws over 100,000 fans, making it a key event to launch the UK’s summer music season.
Tickets go on sale March 13 for £33 plus a £4.50 booking fee, available exclusively through Ticketmaster. With Liverpool’s rich music history as the backdrop, Grennan’s headlining spot marks another milestone in his fast-rising career.
