Every Pre-Save Counts: Mon Rovîa Launches Mental Health Campaign

The artist’s own struggles with mental health led him to team up with a nonprofit—and now, you can be part of the effort.
Mon Rovîa just announced on Instagram that for his upcoming single Oh Wide World, every pre-save will make a difference.
The indie folk artist has pledged to donate $1 for each pre-save of Oh Wide World, with all proceeds going directly to To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA).
TWLOHA is a nonprofit that provides support and resources for individuals dealing with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicidal thoughts.
Mental health has played a central role in Mon Rovîa’s journey as an artist, making this partnership especially meaningful to him.
Born during the chaos of the Second Liberian Civil War, Mon Rovîa was adopted by Christian missionaries at the age of seven and brought to the United States.
His path into music began in 2020, during a period of deep personal struggle. Grappling with mental health challenges and survivor’s guilt, he turned to songwriting as a way to cope.
At one point, overwhelmed by a sense that he wasn’t doing enough for his community, he considered leaving music behind entirely.
Fortunately, with the support of his friend and manager Eric Cromartie, he found the strength to continue pursuing his passion.
Mental health remains an under-addressed issue in the music industry, with many artists struggling in silence. Organizations like TWLOHA provide hope by offering free resources and access to professional care, helping people find a path toward healing and stability.
