Storm Reid shuts down college critics on TikTok, says education was her choice—and she’s graduating from USC this May.

American actress Storm Reid, known for playing Rue’s sister Gia in Euphoria, is clapping back at an online troll who criticized her for attending college, claiming it’s not necessary for success.

The 21-year-old actress, who is graduating on May 16 from USC’s School of Dramatic Arts, took to TikTok to share her thoughts on the matter:

“You’re right, college isn’t for everybody, but it was for me. I wanted to go. I felt like I needed to go.”

She worked full-time while in college and pointed out that she even won an Emmy Award during that time. She also challenged her critics, asking:

“What do we call graduating plus being successful?”

Regarding her role in Euphoria and her absence from the upcoming season, the actress expressed her gratitude, saying the show will always have a special place in her heart.
