Sunny Suljic Attends Sundance for the First Time and Shares Exclusive Behind the Scenes of 'Lurker'

American actor Sunny Suljic just attended the 2025 Sundance Film Festival to promote his latest film, Lurker, and he’s got some photos to prove it! In his latest Instagram post, he revealed that it was his first time at the festival and that he loved every moment of it.

In the post, he also thanked writer and director Alex Russell for making the movie, which he feels grateful to be a part of. In one of the photos, Sunny can be seen sharing the stage with his Lurker co-stars Havana Rose Liu, Archie Madekwe, and Zack Fox.

Lurker follows Théodore Pellerin as Matthew, a retail employee who becomes obsessed with Oliver, an emerging pop singer played by Archie Madekwe, and infiltrates his inner circle. Sunny Suljic plays Jamie, Matthew’s co-worker, who becomes interested in Oliver as well, leading Matthew to see him as competition. The film explores the darker side of fandom and the unhealthy obsession with fame that some people tend to develop.

It has been four years since Suljic appeared in his last movie, the 2021 comedy-drama North Hollywood, and the following year, he reprised his voice role as Atreus in God of War: Ragnarok. Most recently, he made a cameo in the music video for Boys of Faith by Aaron Bay-Schuck, Zach Bryan, and Bon Iver.
