We thought Sophie Thatcher was just an actress! But when she dropped her debut EP Pivot and Scrape earlier this month, she surprised everyone, revealing her musical talents. And have you seen her paintings?
Now, she’s taking it a step further by appearing on NTS Radio to deliver an hour of “noisy and atmospheric” music. For those unfamiliar with NTS, it’s an online radio station and platform that showcases musicians from all genres. It started in London in 2011 and shines a spotlight on underground artists – a gesture greatly appreciated by rising talents.
Sophie teased her NTS appearance in an Instagram post, but she didn’t give us any time to prepare for her sonic venture. Her post only mentioned the time (11am pst) and the NTS Radio
