Samara Weaving Returns for 'Ready or Not 2' With Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood Joining the Chaos

Samara Weaving is officially back as Grace in Ready or Not: Here I Come, and she’s not the only familiar face returning. After last month’s announcement that Kathryn Newton had joined the cast, the upcoming sequel just added two more big names: Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood. Their roles are still under wraps, but the reveal came as part of a quick teaser that also confirmed the return of Weaving and Newton—making it clear this cast is stacking up fast.

The original team is back too, with directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett once again behind the camera, and Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy returning to write. Filming kicked off on April 21 in Toronto.

Plot details are being kept quiet for now, especially considering where the first film left off—with Grace, blood-soaked and very much alive, after surviving her in-laws’ deadly wedding night ritual.
