Cobra Kai is ramping up for Season 6 with the exciting addition of Lewis Tan, Patrick Luwis, and Rayna Vallandingham. This casting news has sparked buzz among fans eager for fresh storylines and character dynamics.

Meet the three newest cast members of Cobra Kai who join the production with a pretty surprising background.

Lewis Tan

Lewis Tan, born in Salford, UK, is an actor and martial artist known for roles in Mortal Kombat, Deadpool 2, and Shadow and Bone. Raised in a family of creatives, with his father a martial artist and stunt coordinator, he was trained in martial arts from a young age. Tan’s international upbringing spanned China, France, and Spain before he began theater training as a teen in Los Angeles. While details about his character remain under wraps, his action background promises to enhance the show’s thrilling fight sequences.

Patrick Luwis

Patrick Luwis discovered his passion for acting while taking a theatre class at Hampden-Sydney College, leading him to perform as Romeo in a college production. His acting journey took him from studying in England and New Zealand to landing his first TV role opposite Amanda Seyfried in The Dropout (Hulu). Since then, he’s appeared in major films like Barbie and Rebel Moon, alongside indie projects such as Meeting You, Meeting Me.

Rayna Vallandingham

Rayna Vallandingham rounds out the trio, known for her insane stunts with nunchucks, swords and taekwondo kicks on TikTok and Instagram. uBut make no mistake, she is a professional athlete, a 13x World Champion in TaeKwonDo with 4th degree black belt. Her background totally suits this upcoming production. Her role is also yet to be disclosed. However, we can already guess she will embody a strong female no-bs character.

The inclusion of these three actors signals a bold direction for Cobra Kai. None of them have significant recognition in the film industry, making it a truly spicy addition to the cast.
