The premiere of the final season of Cobra Kai was met with a surprise nobody saw coming. Samantha LaRusso actress Mary Mouser and Robby Keene actor Tanner Buchanan appeared on the red carpet together—as a couple! And that’s not all—the two kept flashing their rings, hinting at a possible engagement.

Mouser and Buchanan’s characters in Cobra Kai have a history of their own. They started dating in Season 2, but their relationship became strained when Sam kissed Miguel at a party, leading to Robby injuring Miguel. While Robby was in juvenile detention, Sam rekindled her feelings for Miguel. Robby later began dating Tory, and Sam stayed with Miguel. Though their relationship ended for good, there were later moments where they attempted to understand each other.

Previously, Buchanan was in a long-term relationship with actress Lizze Broadway, and Mouser had been dating actor Brett Pierce since 2016. It’s unclear when their relationships ended to make way for this new romance.
