Raye could not have expected such an honor. King Charles chose one of her songs, which he listens to on repeat.
The 76-year-old Charles III has added the seven-time Brit Award winner’s hit Love Me Again to a new playlist featuring 17 of his favorite songs in honor of Commonwealth Day. The one-hour collection, titled The King’s Music Room, is now available on Apple Music.
Charles described Raye as “one of our most exciting and acclaimed contemporary singer-songwriters.” He was incredibly pleased with her performance at the Grammy Awards and proud to see her as “the ambassador of British music.”
Raye’s most recent win at the 2025 Brit Awards as Best R&B Act propelled her to new heights. She continues to showcase her incredible vocal abilities and capture the attention of audiophiles around the world.
