Jessie Mei Li, known for playing Alina Starkov in Shadow and Bone, has recently joined the cast of a new project! This time, she’s starring in The Season, a Hong Kong-set TV series from Chilean director Marialy Rivas.
According to Deadline, she will appear alongside

Celina Jade, and rising Japanese model 
Kōki.
The Season follows a close-knit group of friends during Hong Kong’s boating season, as their summer escape spirals into a web of deception and power struggles.
Jessie Mei Li’s last TV role was in Shadow and Bone, and her last film was the 2021 horror Last Night in Soho. However, she is set to appear in the short film Pork Scratchings and will also star in the upcoming action thriller Havoc with 
Tom Hardy, which recently released its first teaser.
