Disney’s highly anticipated live-action retelling of Snow White has found itself in hot water even before its March 2025 premiere. The controversy stems from the trailer’s heavy reliance on CGI, as well as changes to the classic storyline - particularly around the portrayal of the seven dwarfs. This modern, feminist take on the 1937 Disney animated film has also been impacted by previous comments from actor Peter Dinklage, leading to significant script and character revisions.
