The brand’s iconic piece returns stronger than ever, paired with Griff’s dynamic style and artistry to celebrate 40 years of all-terrain performance and forward-thinking design.

The North Face marks 40 years of its legendary Mountain Jacket with a fresh campaign fronted by BRIT Award-winner English singer-songwriter Griff (Sarah Faith Griffiths)Griff. Introduced in 1985 for climbers and skiers, the jacket soon became a staple for harsh weather. Now, two new versions are out — Dryvent Mono for breathability and Gore-Tex for waterproofing. The new jackets, built for both exploration and everyday wear, are now available online. Others featured in the campaign include snowboarder Blake Paul, and freeride skier Dennis Ranalter.

Griff, who emphasizes fashion as a form of self-expression (and often creates custom pieces for her performances), adds rising star power to The North Face’s celebration. After releasing debut album Vertigo in July 2024, which received strong reviews, she’s also opened for Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, and Taylor Swift. In November 2024, Griff released a new single titled Last Night’s Mascara, which she had previously performed live during her tour with Sabrina Carpenter.
