From Archives to Innovation: Maitrepierre's Timeless Fusion of Past and Present at PFW

Alphonse Maitrepierre is known for making his designs from dead-stock, upcycling materials all while using innovative technologies.

In his newest collection, presented at the Paris Fashion Week, the designer explored the link between the past and the future – another process common for the rising fashion talent.

By mixing styles from different eras of our past, like 50s or 60s inspired shapes, with modern touches, like kaleidoscopic patterns, and the use of new techniques, such as laser cut embellishment, Maitrepierre achieved to create a volume which encourages the wearers to take a moment and reflect on our heritage.
