Country meets hip-hop as Ernest collaborates with Snoop Dogg on ‘Gettin’ Gone,’ the debut release from his label, DeVille Records.

Country singer Ernest arrives on the red carpet for the 58th CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024Ernest has announced the release of his new single Gettin’ Gone featuring Snoop Dogg, set to drop on April 9 at 12 PM CT. The track is part of his upcoming project Cadillac Sessions, which will be the debut release under his newly launched label, DeVille Records. Last month, the duo was spotted shooting the Gettin’ Gone video in Nashville.

The announcement was made via Ernest’s official Instagram account, where he shared a teaser clip alongside hashtags #CadillacSessions and #DeVilleRecords. The collaboration with Snoop Dogg adds star power to the project, which also includes Chandler Walters, a Platinum-certified songwriter and steel guitarist; Cody Lohden, an ex-firefighter known for his classic country-rock vibe; and Rhys Rutherford, who brings a rich Nashville lineage as the son of Hall of Famer Rivers Rutherford.
