Meet Rachel Chinouriri, an emerging singer-songwriter from London! Like a lot of underground artist, she started posting her music on SoundCloud before moving to streaming platforms in 2018. This was followed by her debut EP Mama’s Boy which everyone loved. Especially the song So My Darling, which blew up on TikTok.
Her journey started at 17, when she started writing her own songs and recorded them on a cheap microphone, using her mom’s laptop to upload her music to SoundCloud.
Fast forward to this year, Rachel dropped her debut album What a Devastating Turn of Events and it was universally praised. The indie rock album drew inspirations from artists like Oasis, The Libertines, Coldplay or Lilly Allen.
With just one album, one minialbum, three EPs and plenty of singles, it’s clear that Rachel is just getting started and we are here for every second of it!
