Joseph Quinn Calls Beatles Role “Beyond My Wildest Dreams”

Joseph Quinn says playing George Harrison in Sam Mendes’ Beatles biopic is “beyond my wildest dreams.”
Joseph Quinn has called his upcoming role in a Beatles biopic series “beyond my wildest dreams.” The 31-year-old actor, best known for playing Eddie Munson in Stranger Things, will portray
George Harrison in a major new project directed by Sir
Sam Mendes. Speaking at the London premiere of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Quinn said, “It feels exciting, it feels a little daunting,” and added, “I’m definitely inspired by the three men that I’m working with, and Sam, who’s directing it.”
The biopic series will be split into four films, each centered on one member of the Beatles. Paul Mescal will play Paul McCartney,
Barry Keoghan will take on Ringo Starr, and
Harris Dickinson will portray John Lennon. Quinn confirmed that rehearsals have already begun, saying, “We’ve been doing a few weeks of rehearsals that I’ve really been enjoying.”
The films, backed by Apple Corps Ltd and The Beatles’ estates, are scheduled for release in April 2028.
