Christian Convery and Owen Wilson Take on Rolling Loud in a New Comedy About a Wild Father-Son Trip

Christian Convery shares a behind-the-scenes look at ‘Rolling Loud’, his upcoming comedy with Owen Wilson set at the famous festival.
American actor Christian Convery is teasing his upcoming comedy Rolling Loud with a photo of himself and co-star
Owen Wilson in a car, as their characters embark on a journey to the Rolling Loud music festival.
Rolling Loud follows a father (Wilson) who makes a questionable parenting decision and takes his son (Convery) to the Rolling Loud festival. As expected at a massive event like this, things don’t go according to plan.
Besides Wilson and Convery, the film also features Jolene Blalock as Melanie,
Olivia Luccardi as Brittany, and
Matt Rife as the father’s co-worker.
Convery first teased the project two weeks ago when he shared a photo of his, Matt Rife’s, and Owen Wilson’s chairs on set. Last week, he posted a selfie with Rife that looked like it was taken at an actual Rolling Loud festival—but it obviously wasn’t.
Beyond Rolling Loud, Convery has several more projects lined up. He’s set to appear in the horror-comedy The Monkey with Theo James and
Tatiana Maslany and has a smaller role in
Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming Frankenstein alongside
Oscar Isaac and
Jacob Elordi.
He will also star in the crime thriller Barron’s Cove with Tramell Tillman and
Brittany Snow, as well as the sci-fi film Flowervale Street with
Anne Hathaway,
Ewan McGregor, and
Maisy Stella, set for release in 2026.
