Back On the Runway: FUBU's Epic Return at Atlanta Fashion Week
Fast forward to 2020, FUBU began its revival, blending contemporary style with classic designs, and now, in 2024, the brand made a significant return to the fashion scene with its highly anticipated runway show at Atlanta Fashion Week.
In 1992, four friends from Hollis, Queens, launched FUBU with a singular vision: to create sportswear for the people, by the people. This ethos, encapsulated in the brand’s iconic tagline “For Us, By Us,” not only defined FUBU but also laid the groundwork for the streetwear industry as we know it today.
Last Friday, FUBU showcased its Fall 2025 menswear and suits collections in a full runway presentation at the Atlanta Fashion Week. This marked a crucial moment for the brand, as it reintroduced reimagined classic pieces infused with fresh energy and style.
Beyond the runway, FUBU will host the FUBU ARCHIVE Art Gallery exhibit at Buckhead Art & Co. from October 7 to October 21, 2024. Curated in partnership with the Trap Music Museum, this exhibit will celebrate FUBU’s rich history while offering a glimpse into its innovative future.
FUBU’s comeback is not only a revival of a beloved brand but also a celebration of creativity and self-expression. With recent expansions into various ventures like HotelFUBU and FUBU Radio, the brand continues to push boundaries while reconnecting with a new generation of fashion and cultural enthusiasts.
As ATLFW serves as the premier platform for showcasing Atlanta’s influence on global fashion, FUBU’s return will certainly leave an indelible mark on the industry once again.
