Flo Milli Announces Son's Birth & Drops New Single 'Gripper'

Talk about multitasking! The rapper welcomed her baby boy and released her new track ‘Gripper’ with T-Pain on the same day.
Flo Milli just dropped some major news – she’s officially a mom! The 25-year-old rapper, Tamia Monique Carter, welcomed her first child, a baby boy, on Friday, April 25. She shared the news on Instagram with a sweet photo holding her newborn, seemingly taken right after delivery. Her caption warned fans in true Flo Milli style: “& yall bett not play bout yall internet nephew 🩵”.
The baby’s father is rapper and producer G6reddot, who also proudly posted about his firstborn son, speaking about the challenges of being a Black father in America.
Flo confirmed her pregnancy back in November 2024 with her signature “flo mommy shit” phrase on X (formerly Twitter), after initially brushing off rumors by asking, “Damn I can’t be bloated??”. She even hit the stage for a performance while nine months pregnant in March, later asking fans online for “mom tips”.
The congratulations poured in online, with fans embracing the “internet nephew” title and fellow artists like Latto,
SZA,
Halle Bailey,
GloRilla, and
Megan Thee Stallion sending love. Flo later shared another adorable photo of the baby and, coincidentally, dropped a new single, Gripper featuring
T-Pain, on the same day she announced the birth.
