Edebiri shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes look on her Instagram, featuring a group photo from the table read. The image, accompanied by the caption “After the Hunt #notastory,” was prompted by Guadagnino himself, who urged her to post it to her grid.
The ensemble cast, which also includes Michael Stuhlbarg (Call Me By Your Name) and Chloë Sevigny (Bones and All), appears to be already forming a tight-knit bond, complete with inside jokes.
Despite the light-hearted atmosphere captured in Edebiri’s post, After The Hunt promises to delve into complex themes. Julia Roberts stars as a college professor facing a crisis when a star student makes a serious accusation against a colleague, forcing her to confront her own dark past.
While After The Hunt doesn’t have a release date yet, fans can catch her in The Bear season 1-3 on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ in the UK.
