The Polish Singer Luna Aims to Become a Star at This Year's Eurovision
The Polish singer Luna will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö in May.
The representative of Poland at this year’s 68th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Malmö from May 7 to 11, will be Aleksandra Katarzyna Wielgomas, known by the stage name Luna. She was born on August 28, 1999, in Warsaw, where she began attending a children’s choir and performing in operas in 2010. On September 19, 2018, she released her debut song “Na wzgórzach niepokoju” (English: “On the Hills of Unrest”).
In 2020, her single “Luna” was released, which inspired her stage name. On February 9, 2024, it was announced that Luna (who is interested in philosophy, astrology, and fashion, among other things, in addition to singing) will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “The Tower.”
