The Lyrics of Eden Golan's Song will be Reworked

Israeli television station Kan has decided to ask the lyricists to rework the lyrics of the song “October Rain” by Eden Golan, which was banned by the Eurovision Song Contest organizers last week due to a violation of political neutrality rules.

This decision was made because the song’s lyrics refer to the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7. Initially, Kan had not considered alterations, which were also supposed to apply to the song “Dance Forever.”
