'Much Ado About Nothing' - That's How You Could Describe the 'Relationship' Between Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney
To promote their film, Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney pretended to be in love.
In an interview for the New York Times published on Tuesday, April 23rd, Glen Powell admitted that his photos, interviews, and TikTok videos with Sydney Sweeney, where the actors appeared as a loving couple, were created to promote the movie “Anyone But You,” directed by Will Gluck.
The film, loosely inspired by William Shakespeare’s play “Much Ado About Nothing,” which tells the story of former partners who reconnect at a wedding, premiered at the end of last year and, according to USA Today, was not initially very successful.
However, after two months, it improved and the film grossed over $200 million worldwide, likely also due to the “relationship” between Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney. Sydney Sweeney, whose fiancé produced the film, also denied a romantic relationship with Powell on “Saturday Night Live” some time ago.
