Larry David, the comedic genius behind “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” delivered a hilarious moment in the Season 12 premiere which saw David getting arrested for inadvertently breaking state voting laws by providing water to a voter in line. The episode climaxed with David’s mugshot, mirroring Donald Trump’s notorious 2023 arrest, complete with a spray tan.

Executive producer Jeff Schaffer revealed that the storyline had been planned for some time, but they decided to add the Trump homage after the resolution of the SAG-AFTRA strike.
