Bill Skarsgård as Eric Draven Returns from the Afterlife in the New Trailer for "The Crow" Remake

The first official trailer for the remake of the famous 1994 film “The Crow” has been released online. In the new film (set to premiere on June 7th), the role of Eric Draven, a rocker returning from the afterlife to avenge the deaths of himself and his fiancée Shelly Webster (played by FKA Twigs), is portrayed by Bill Skarsgård.

Directed by Rupert Sanders, the film based on James O’Barr’s comic book will also feature actors such as Danny Huston, Laura Birn, and Jordan Bolger. Brandon Lee, who portrayed Eric Draven in the original film, tragically succumbed to a gunshot wound during its filming.
