Willy Chavarria's PFW Debut: A Star-Studded Celebration of Fashion and Performance
The collection marks the 10th anniversary of Chavarria’s brand and signifies an exciting new chapter for the designer.
During Paris Fashion Week, Willy Chavarria made a highly-anticipated debut at the American Cathedral Episcopal Church, showcasing his latest collection titled Tarantula.
The runway featured luxurious velvet fabrics, washed satins, and innovative takes on classic bomber jackets, as well as Chavarria’s signature suits and sportswear.
The show was full of live performances. It kicked off with a singer in a flowing scarlet gown, leading into the first looks that highlighted Chavarria’s signature boxy suiting, oversized corsages, and 70s-inspired collars.
But the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year enlisted a full A-star lineup of celebrities and models, including Indya Moore, J Balvin, Becky G, or Tokischa to perform and walk the runway.
The diverse cast also included Honey Dijon, Alva Claire, and Paloma Elsesser, alongside emerging talents from both Paris and New York, making the debut a vibrant and memorable event in the schedule.
The designer also teamed up with Adidas for a unique collaboration to celebrate his debut in Paris.
