Vic Mensa Reveals Wild Fight With Italian Mob, Explains Sobriety Decision

Vic Mensa recently shared the wild story of a drunken club fight involving the Italian mob, an incident that ultimately convinced him to quit drinking alcohol.
Vic Mensa recently opened up about a wild night involving a fight with the Italian mob, which convinced him to quit alcohol for good. Mensa described showing up drunk to support a friend’s DJ set while on tour. Upon arrival, he found his manager surrounded by strangers, who immediately handed him Cognac, champagne, and a blunt.
Things quickly escalated when Vic drunkenly smashed a champagne bottle on a man he mistakenly thought was responsible for throwing out his friend. After narrowly escaping an alley chase, Mensa learned from a friend that he’d just fought members of the Italian mob. Terrified, he resolved the situation by paying $10,000 through a Chicago connection. Reflecting on the surreal event, Vic admitted it was a major wake-up call, joking, “That’s another reason why I don’t drink.”
