During his third Rodeo Houston sell-out, McCollum revealed the release date and collaborations with country heavyweights like Jon Randall and Lori McKenna.

Parker McCollum thrilled a packed Rodeo Houston crowd during his weekend performance by revealing his new self-titled album, set for release on June 27, 2025. This marks his fifth studio effort—and his first to bear his own name—presenting what he calls “one thousand percent authentic Parker.” Drawing inspiration from the Texas country sounds, the record returns to the style of his early independent releases, Limestone Kid and Probably Wrong.

During the announcement, McCollum also introduced his son, Major, to cheering fans.

Songwriting collaborations with Jon Randall, Randy Rogers, Lori McKenna, and Monty Criswell promise traditional Southern narratives. Despite recently pondering his role in country music, McCollum embraces a stripped-down, honest approach on this album. With pre-orders now live, fans can look forward to a summer-ready record with genuine Texas roots.
