Katie Douglas Makes Her Horror Debut in 'Clown in a Cornfield'

Katie Douglas makes her horror debut in ‘Clown in a Cornfield,’ a chilling slasher that just dropped its first terrifying trailer.
Canadian actress Katie Douglas, best known for her role as Abby in Ginny & Georgia, is about to make her horror film debut in Clown in a Cornfield, and the first trailer just released shows how creepy it’s going to get.
Clown in a Cornfield follows Quinn, played by Douglas, a teenager who moves to the small town of Kettle Springs, only to find herself fighting for her life when a killer clown starts hunting down local teens. As chaos spreads, Quinn and her friends must uncover the truth and survive the deadly night.
Joining Douglas are Aaron Abrams as Quinn’s dad, Dr. Maybrook;
Carson MacCormac as Cole;
Kevin Durand as Arthur Hill; and
Will Sasso as Sheriff Dunne, among others.
In addition to Clown in a Cornfield, Douglas will also appear in the short film What Would Jesus Do? and the adventure film This Too Shall Pass. She will also reprise her role as Abby in the third season of Ginny & Georgia, premiering on June 5.
Clown in a Cornfield premiered at the 2025 South by Southwest Film Festival and will be released in U.S. cinemas on May 9, 2025.
