Emma D'Arcy Faces a Terrifying Obsession in Alex Lawther's Chilling New Short 'Rhoda'
Emma D’Arcy stars in ‘Rhoda’, a chilling short film directed by Alex Lawther, premiering today at the London Film Festival.
House of the Dragon actor Emma D’Arcy is about to star in a short film titled Rhoda with Juliet Stevenson. The creepy short comes from the pen of Black Mirror actor Alex Lawther, who also directed it. The film premieres today at the London Film Festival!
The trailer for the short, released by Deadline, hints at a story centered on Emma D’Arcy’s character, who moves into a new flat that shares a wall with the landlord, played by Juliet Stevenson. What follows is a descent into madness, as the landlord becomes obsessed with the tenant, spying on them and peeking through holes in the walls. We can only guess what will happen next, but it’s probably nothing pleasant.
Rhoda marks the second time Emma D’Arcy has worked with Alex Lawther. They previously starred in the hauntingly romantic short For People in Trouble, which he also wrote and directed. That film was co-produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, adding some star power to the project.
So, if you’re attending the London Film Festival today, make sure to catch Rhoda before it’s too late, you won’t regret it!
