Today is World UFO Day, and we’re celebrating by highlighting famous people who have claimed to see UFOs.

Kurt Russell reported seeing a UFO while flying over Phoenix in 1997. As a pilot, he described witnessing the famous Phoenix Lights, which remains one of the most notable mass UFO sightings.

Dan Aykroyd, known for his role in Ghostbusters, is a long-time UFO enthusiast. He has spoken extensively about his experiences and beliefs, claiming to have seen four UFOs one night while staying in upstate New York.

Mira Sorvino, the Academy Award-winning actress, has also recounted a UFO sighting. She saw a strange light in the sky while in California, which she couldn’t explain.

Shaun Ryder, frontman of the Happy Mondays, has been vocal about his multiple UFO sightings. He has shared his experiences on various TV shows, describing them as life-changing events.

John Lennon claimed to have seen a UFO from his New York apartment window in 1974. He even referenced the sighting in his song Nobody Told Me, singing, “There’s UFOs over New York and I ain’t too surprised.”

Jimmy Carter, the former U.S. President, witnessed a UFO in 1969. He described it as a bright light that changed colors and size before disappearing. Carter later reported this incident to the International UFO Bureau.

Nick Jonas recounted seeing three flying saucers in his backyard in Los Angeles. His sighting was confirmed by a friend who was with him at the time.

Russell Crowe posted time-lapse photos of what he believed to be a UFO outside his office in Australia. While some dismissed it as a publicity stunt, the photos have never been definitively debunked.
