Austin Amelio’s Game-Changing Role in 'Bunnylovr' Could Propel Him to New Heights!
Austin Amelio wraps ‘Bunnylovr,’ a film by newcomer Katarina Zhu, and gears up for exciting projects!
Austin Amelio, known for playing Dwight in The Walking Dead and its spin-off Fear the Walking Dead, has just added another project to his résumé!
Deadline reports that he has just completed a project by newcomer Katarina Zhu, titled Bunnylovr. The movie is an indie drama entirely written and directed by Zhu, who also stars in it!
The film was primarily shot in New York and, in addition to Amelio and Zhu, it features Perry Yung, Rachel Sennott (recently in the news for her CBD-related incident), and Jack Kilmer.
The official description of Bunnylovr states: “A cam girl navigates a toxic client relationship while reconnecting with her estranged, dying father, exploring complex relationship and family dynamics.” With such an unexplored topic, the movie, if executed well, could propel Zhu into stardom. But it’s not all about the director.
Amelio’s 2024 might be described as relatively quiet, since Fear the Walking Dead concluded last year and his last film, Hit Man, was released last year. However, its strong reception proved that he’s the actor you want in your project.
That said, he’s not been idle. Austin is currently filming When Nobody Sees Us, a TV series featuring Mariela Garriga and Maribel Verdú, based on the novel by Sergio Sarria.
We can’t wait to see what Amelio has in store for us in the upcoming year!
