British actress Sonoya Mizuno, celebrated for her dynamic roles in “Maniac,” “House of the Dragon,” and “Crazy Rich Asians,” has announced that her film, “Am I OK?,” will premiere on the streaming service Max on June 6, 2024. Directed by Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne and penned by Lauren Pomerantz, the comedy-drama made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival in 2022.
Starring alongside Dakota Johnson, the film explores the life of Lucy, a 32-year-old woman from Los Angeles who discovers her sexuality after a series of unsuccessful dates with men. With her best friend Jane’s support, Lucy embarks on a journey of self-discovery and navigating new relationships.
