According to the Hindustan Times, K-pop agencies representing South Korean singers Han So Heeand Ryu Jun Yeol have confirmed their relationship, which they initially denied. The Hindustan Times also refers to an article on the BBC website, stating that even just 10 years ago, K-pop agencies prohibited their new talents from dating, and to this day, many fans react negatively to relationship disclosures.
For example, this recently led to a public apology from singer Karina (real name Lee Jae-wook) for revealing her relationship with actor Lee Jae-wook, to which fans responded by sending a car with the message “Is the love given to you by your fans not enough?” to her agency. Similar restrictions, according to the BBC, also apply in Japan. The South Korean news website Dispatch recently published photos capturing the latest famous couple Han So Hee and Ryu Jun in Hawaii.
