Nelson Mandela hailed from Mvezo. Born on Thursday, July 18, 1918, this Cancer made their mark as activist. Nelson Mandela's journey to fame began with their academic pursuits at schools like University of the Witwatersrand, University of Fort Hare and the University of South Africa.

Over the course of their career, they were honored with numerous accolades, including the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International Understanding, International Simón Bolívar Prize and the Ludovic-Trarieux International Human Rights Prize.

Nelson Mandela left us on Thursday, December 5, 2013, but their legacy continues to inspire and captivate fans around the world.
