The whole SS25 collection is called Nordic Midsummer Camp. Nielsen, who is the founder of AKNVAS, told Fashionista that he was particularly inspired by Scouts arriving at Danish summer camps.
Uniform-like looks, structured silhouettes as well as scout-inspired details could be seen throughout the runway show.

A common detail for AKNVAS’s designs are floral appliqués. For the SS25 season, Nielsen used handmade flowers on denim pieces as well as shirts or other accessories. Juxtaposed to that are piercing applications that could also be seen in the collection.
The designer is also coming with some hot news this season as the NYFW runway was the first place where he presented the latest additions to the brand’s collection - handbags.
