Sasha Sloan Kicks Off North American Tour on October 12th
Sasha Sloan, the rising indie-pop star, announces her North American tour, hitting major cities like San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and more.
Since the release of Sasha Sloan’s (a.k.a Alex Sloan) first EP, Sad Girl and Loser, in 2018, she has been steadily climbing the ladder of fame. Now, with over 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify, she attracts thousands of people to her concerts around the globe.
Originally, Sloan made a name for herself by featuring on tracks with artists such as Kaskade and ODESZA. She also co-wrote songs for major artists like Camila Cabello, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, and Tinashe.
Her most recent album, Me Again, which has over 20 million listens on Spotify, has left fans in tears and provided much-needed understanding for their feelings, with comments like:
“This is so insanely relatable for someone who has struggled with depression before. It makes me want to cry just listening to this because I still remember what it was like to feel so sad and alone like this, with just a bunch of dreams and nothing to actually live for in the present.”
“I tear up every time I hear this song because she puts it into words exactly what we feel when we are at our lowest. The struggle to get ourselves to do things but we know we want to be able to. It takes time for our minds to heal but we all know we’ll eventually get there and have to be patient with ourselves. Not everyone will understand this but she puts it into words that I can use to tell my friends what happens in my mind when I can’t express it myself ”
