'Monarch' Season 2 Just Upped the Stakes by Adding Amber Midthunder
Amber Midthunder joins ‘Monarch: Legacy of Monsters’ season 2, adding to a busy year with new projects ‘Rez Ball’ and ‘Opus.’
Emerging actress 
Amber Midthunder,, most recently known for her role in Prey, has just landed another gig! Variety reports that the actress has joined the cast of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters for the upcoming second season.
Monarch is a monster TV series centered around Godzilla and other creatures from its universe called Titans. The cast includes 
Anna Sawai, 
Kiersey Clemons, and both 
Wyatt and 
Kurt Russell, among others.
It was announced in April that the show had been renewed for a second season, with filming commencing in July, meaning Midthunder is jumping on a moving train. But that’s pretty typical for actors, right?
Amber Midthunder also recently starred in Rez Ball, a film about a Native American high school basketball team that loses its star player before the state championship.
To keep herself even busier, Midthunder is also working on Novocaine, an action thriller with 
Jack Quaid, and Opus, a horror flick featuring 
Ayo Edebiri and 
John Malkovich.
