Matthew McConaughey Announces Zach Bryan's Last Major-Label Ride ‘Motorbreath’

The film promises to give fans a behind-the-scenes journey of his final major-label album and its cross-country motorcycle adventure.
Zach Bryan just revealed plans for a new film, Motorbreath, which will document the making of his final major-label album. Bryan initially teased a track of the same name last November on social media. He later announced its release the day after dropping This World’s a Giant, but eventually delayed it for cinematic reasons tied to the film.
Today’s announcement came via an intriguing Instagram post featuring a voice memo by Matthew McConaughey declaring:
“This is not a film about a band, this is a film about a boy from Oklahoma.”
The movie’s plot centers on a close-knit group of friends setting off on a two-week motorcycle ride across America, all while recording one last major-label album.
Although no release date for Motorbreath has been announced, fans got a glimpse of another fresh track, Birdie, referencing Elliott Smith’s Behind the Bars, just hours before the McConaughey memo.
