Maia Reficco Wraps Up Her Role as Eurydice in 'Hadestown' with an Emotional Goodbye
Maia Reficco bids farewell to Eurydice in ‘Hadestown’ after nearly 200 performances, reflecting on her Broadway journey.
American and Argentine actress Maia Reficco is saying a tearful goodbye to playing Eurydice in the Broadway production of Hadestown. She took to Instagram to share her final moments from the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York City.
Reficco began playing Eurydice in July of last year, replacing Isa Briones. It marked her Broadway debut, and she performed nearly 200 shows as Eurydice alongside Jordan Fisher, who played Orpheus.
Reflecting on the experience, Reficco shared that it healed her “from the inside out.” She thanked everyone involved in the production, from actors to crew, for the laughs and generosity they provided.
Most recently, Reficco starred in the action film One Fast Move with KJ Apa and Eric Dane, and she played Noa Olivar on Pretty Little Liars. She also has two movies in the works: A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow with Kit Connor, and La Dolce Villa with Scott Foley.
