Jennie’s new single ‘Love Hangover’ teams her up with Dominic Fike for a moody, midtempo track that dives into the drama of toxic, addictive love.

Due out on March 7, this is the third single from Jennie’s upcoming solo album, Ruby, which also features heavy hitters like Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dua Lipa, and Kali Uchis. Inspired by Diana Ross’ 1976 classic, Love Hangover uses the metaphor of a hangover to show the messy cycle of love and regret, with Dominic Fike’s personal verse that touches on a rocky relationship and fatherhood.

The music video—filmed in Mexico City and directed by Bradley & Pablo—goes full chaotic surrealism. It sees Jennie on a string of doomed dates with Charles Melton, complete with a random kaiju monster attack at a drive-in and a near-death experience when she chokes on a martini olive.

Love Hangover follows Jennie’s previous singles Zen and Mantra, continuing her shift toward a more global sound. With Ruby just weeks away, all eyes remain on Jennie’s next move. For instance, rumors of a real-life spark with Dominic Fike blew up after a cozy Instagram photo surfaced. Neither has commented, leaving fans guessing if it’s just promo or something deeper.
